        VBAC

VBAC or vaginal birth after cesarean  is a low-risk practice and carries less risk  than multiple uterine surgeries.  Moreover, VBAC is safest during un-medicated childbirth, and in the absence of common medical interventions such as induction or labor augmentation.  We strongly support women's choice in how they wish to deliver and are experienced in managing VBAC labors.
In most areas of the world VBAC is a widely accepted management approach and women are encouraged to try for a vaginal delivery.  However, VBAC is a controversial subject in many areas of the United States.   Many doctors in this area are cautious about offering this option.  Indeed there are some doctors and hospitals in the United States that require repeat cesarean deliveries.   Unfortunately, many women facing a post-cesarean pregnancy will encounter at least one person telling them that VBAC is a dangerous choice and not worth considering.  Please take some time to look at the facts and see the excellent outcomes associated with VBACs when managed appropriately.
